Wizz Air announces three new routes from Liverpool to Romania.
Low- cost carrier Wizz Air has announced it will offer three new routes to Romania commencing later this year. Flights are scheduled to depart from Liverpool John Lennon airport to the capital Bucharest, and cities Cluj and Iasi by the end of October.
The new routes bring Wizz Air’s total from Liverpool to seven, including services to Poland and Hungary and a total of 17 weekly flights departing from Liverpool.
Flights to Bucharest will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 30 October, while services to Cluj-Napoca and Iasi will operate on Mondays and Fridays from 29 October.
Owain Jones, the chief corporate officer at Wizz Air, commented: “Wizz Air’s investment in the UK continues as we bring new flights to Liverpool John Lennon airport, increasing our network of destinations for our customers in the North West to include some of Romania’s most historic and lively destinations.”
